Supply Chain Management has become vital for the success of the organization in the recent years with big organizations like Apple, Nike and Gap outsourcing their supply chains to developing countries such as China and India (Christopher, 2005). Apple Inc. creates and designs hardware and software such as iMac, iPhone, iPad, iPod and iTunes etc. Year after year, Apple Inc. has been able to show a substantial amount of profit for its products and most attribute this to the superior technology available at Apple. However, the success of Apple is partly dependant on its superior supply chain management.
