Change in management

The employees of the firm are quite rebellious towards me as a new manager as they consider me in a contrasting role as compared to the old manager. I am quite aware that you worked with enough struggle with the previous manager and you were on relax terms with him. However, I feel that at every place there is a chance of improvement and this fact cannot be denied. I believe in Bureaucratic management style and this does not mean that the employees will not be able to work in form of a team. They will have equal opportunities for progress. They will just have to follow certain procedures and policies designed by the management and I assure you that these policies and procedures will be friendly for the employees.
