Managing Human Resources: Small versus Large Organizations
One of these three criteria determines the size of the company the number of employees the volume if not the amount of transaction in dollars and the size of a companys assets (Graubner, 2006). No matter the size, as determined by the criteria mentioned the need or the reason for managing Human Resource of a company remains the same. The only difference is the creative way of managing human resources with the available resource a particular company can provide. The size of the company determines the type of resources that will be made available to the human resource department. More often than not, a healthy proportion of human resource generalist versus the number of employee is defined in terms of the constant need for visibility of the human resource department (Mathis Jackson, 2007).
