Within the allegorical tale entitled Who Moved My Cheese by Dr. Spencer Johnson, the reader is introduced to four characters. These characters are meant to illustrate the embodiment of specific characteristics in the real world. The mice characters, Sniff and Scurry, are representative of hard work, determination, and swift adaptation to change. The other pair, Hem and Haw, represent character traits of laziness, resistance to change, entitlement, and stubbornness. My favorite character in this story would have to be Haw because although he exhibited many negative traits at the beginning of the story, he began to take on more of the positive traits once he decided to go search for the New Cheese.
